Dr Mark
Practice Owner (Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Qld), GradDipSc)
Mark grew up in far western Queensland and NT on extensive cattle stations. Upon graduating he took up his first vet job in Dorrigo in 1983. Later that year he was the sole vet at the Dorrigo practice, and ultimately bought the practice in 1986. Since then he has moved "down the hill" to Bellingen to concentrate more on "smallies" after many years working on "largies". He has had various stints away overseas over the years working in the UK in an equine practice, on the foot and mouth outbreak, and a large mixed practice in 2005, as well 15 months in Trinidad lecturing in surgery at the veterinary school.
His great thirst for knowledge and continual improvement, has led him all over the globe regularly attending conferences and seeking out new ideas and viewpoints. He has a special interest in the unfolding world of laser therapy and digital thermography in veterinary medicine. Client education through informed objective advice to deliver better health, welfare and general well-being outcomes for animals has been a driving force throughout his veterinary career.
Outside of work Mark is a keen gardener, bird watcher, runner, bushwalker, photographer and traveller. He lives in Dorrigo with his wife Elizabeth, Foxie the dog (RIP) and Hiphoppoobum the cat. Their 4 children, who all grew up in the Bellingen Shire, are scattered from Newcastle to Sydney.

Dr Steve
Veterinarian (Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Syd))
Steve has tried to retire to the Bellingen Shire following an illustrious career in Mudgee. For the most part he is retired, but upon occasions he graciously dons his fatigues and fills in when we are short a vet. His extensive knowledge and experience are great resources we are lucky to be able to avail.
